The Butterfly Toggle Bolt is a lightweight anchoring product designed for hollow wall materials such as gypsum board and hollow block walls. They are also often referred to as Molly Bolts or Butterfly Anchors.
Carbon Steel: Typically used for general applications.
Stainless Steel: For environments where corrosion resistance is required.
Alloy Steels: Used in applications requiring high strength or high temperature resistance.
Advantage:
DISTRIBUTION OF LOAD: Wing mechanisms are much larger than the screws attached to them, so they can distribute the weight of the item being secured over a larger area. Temperature Resistance: Steel butterfly anchors are more resistant to temperature changes than other hollow wall anchors. Single Use: They are a one-time anchoring product, but can provide a strong hold when used correctly. MATERIALS: The wing is made from AISI 1008-1010 or equivalent cold rolled steel and the screw is made from carbon steel, usually supplied with a clear zinc finish .
Scope of Application
Plasterboard: suitable for hanging heavy objects such as shelves, mirrors, cabinets or lightweight fixtures on plasterboard walls. Hollow Brick Walls: also suitable for hollow brick walls, providing a reliable anchoring solution. Ceiling Hooks: Ideal for installing ceiling hooks as they cannot be easily pulled out.
